| | Casino Royale... 3 in 1? | | I watched casino royale yesterday on my laptop and I must say that this is the best Bond in the realy long time. I realy like new actor (David Craig I think). He's better then Pierce, couse Bond finally looks like a killer. Pierce wasn't bad... just his scenarios sucks. Anyway... back to the topic!I can realy see three diffrent movies in casino royale, or you may say 3 diffrent parts of it. First part is the instant killing-pursuit action that ends when he is arriving in casino royale at Czarnogóra. Then the second part starts... the poker game. The scenario has here totally diffrent style. Later when Bond wins the bad guys abduct the girl, and later Bond too. After the tortures with the rope 3rd part starts. The "happy ending". Bond is so happy that it starts to be a love story. This is way diffrent than the beginning. After the moment that girl dies the movie starts to be just like in the beginning. So just like it is in the topic. I see here 3 diffrent movies. What do you think about it? | |

| Did anyone else not like Casino Royale? | | Am I the only one who did not like Casino Royale and the new direction of James Bond?Firstly, Daniel Craig does not look the part. Although he is a good actor and have enjoyed many of his roles, he is not James Bond, is he? As a critic (who like Casino Royale) said, Daniel Craig looks like the sort of person James Bond might bump into at MI6 hq.Also, the Bond origin element with a young James Bond was a bit silly with Daniel Craig. In the ian fleming novels, James Bond was in his mid 20's when he got his 00 licence. Craig is 40 and his Bond is supposed to be the same age. You could argue that in the modern world agents would become 00 agents at a more mature age. But, Craig's Bond was acting like he was in his early twenties.Although they did not have the gunbarrel sequence and the Bond music (they will return in the next one I think) which did not help, it simply did not feel like a James Bond film, but instead an average action/thriller with Daniel Craig. | |
| | James Bond: what do you Think of Casino Royale | | I have seen that movie and I dont think it is in anyway close to the standards of the other James Bond movies.
I think MOonRaker and The Spy who Love Me is pretty cool.
Pierce Brosnan piece of the James Bond movies are very nice too.

| The New James Bond Film - Casino Royale - A Disgusting Movie | | I have watch the latest James Bond movie - Casino Royale during my flight . It was really a disgusting movie. Very very different from the previous James Bond films.....Any idea why the producer and director or even the writer decided to do that movie? | |
| | Casino Royale - Feedback on the new James Bond | | I just recently watched casino royale on dvd. I have to admit I find the new James Bond a bit different from the previous movies. Daniel Craig's James Bond is not as polish nor as debonair in comparison to other actors who played the role. Still he possesses the menace, intelligence and daring of an 007. Considering that this movie is supposed to be about the time when he just received his 007 status, that could be the excuse why the Bond here is raw, rough and elemental.Overall, I still enjoyed the movie. The action was fast-paced, the script tight, and Craig, though not classically handsome, has the lean, hard body of an action hero.So for the mylot members, I'm wondering what is you opinion about this movie. Do you think this new James Bond is good enough to carry the 007 title? Please share...l like a James Bond film, but instead an average action/thriller with Daniel Craig. | |

| James Bond: do you remember the Casino Royale with Woody Allen and David Niven? | | It was funny, in some way psychedelic, and perhaps respected the Author's first intent, which was that of make out a humorous parody of a secret agent.
The following books written by Jan Fleming where instead due to the success of the first one and for a different editorial choice depicted a sort of superman under the disguise of a spy at the service of Her Majesty.
| | Favourite Scene In CASINO ROYALE? | | What's your favourite part in CASINO ROYALE?
The torture scene is the most Unforgettable. It's violent, brutal and yet funny. Brilliant indeed!
I've been watching this flick, everyday since NOV 17th 2006 and I never got bored of it. Don't think I ever will.

| Casino Royale | | this is not the best 007 movie because there wasn't a lot of fight but i still like the movie. | |
| | 007: Casino Royale | | this movie was pretty good, probably the best james bond movie i have seen. granted, i have only seen 3 (golden eye and die another day) but it was still pretty damn good. my favorite quote was bartender: "would you like it shaken or stirred?" bond: "does it look like i give a damn?" | |
