| | Which is the best bond movie and the best artiste to play the role of Bond? | | I have been a big fan of bond's movies from a very early age. I remember reading the first Ian fleming novel Dr. No when i was in 8th standard. The detailing of this man; Ian fleming was so amazing that i still remember reading the entire novel at a stretch in a single sitting. That wonderful impression that i had of Ian fleming's beautigul and pulling description was what that pulled me to wtach james Bond movies when i grew up and was in 10th standard. By now, i have watched almost every Bond movie that might ever have been made. But the most gripping of all of them was "From Russia with Love". Having watched various stars play Bond's role; from Roger Moore to Pierce Brosnan to the latest Bond, i still feel that Roger Moore was the one that suited Bond's character the most. What are your guys take on this...? | |

| Would You Believe That James Bond (Agent 007) Was Modeled From a Canadian? | | I read from an article in National Post dated July 28, 2008 that James Bond, who's famous movie lines were "My name is Bond, James Bond", "A martini, Shaken but not stirred" could be patterned from a Winnipegger. Following is an excerpt:"The evidence has been gathering for years that writer Ian Fleming based his fictional hero on Sir William Stevenson, a real life spymaster who began his extraordinary existence in 1897
It was during Stevenson's tenure in charge of the phoney British Passport Office in New York City (actually a front for England's propaganda and counter-espionage headquarters) that Stevenson and writer Ian Fleming first met and became friends. Among many common interests, they both loved martinis, and Stevenson was famous for serving them to his guests in quart-sized glasses."It was alleged that, Fleming and Stevenson owned neighboring properties in Jamaica and have known each other for many years when Fleming sat down to write the first Bond novel. Being a James Bond fanatic, If it were true then would say having known that someone had lived like our idol is amazing[em]happy[/em]. What do you think? | |

| | Down per post paid | | I tried to make as much as I can today because I don't have that luxury anymore. At least 20 posts that merited only $0.53 or an average of $0.0265 per post. With the same quality posts I did before fetched me something like $0.04 per post. It feels bad to be rewarded less for the same or better effort I was or am doing. It's like Ian Fleming writing another 007 James Bond book and being paid less, don't you think so? | |
