| Icebreaker camp would you be OK with letting your kids go. | | My son is a sea scout and the are this weekend camping out doors brrrrrrrrrrrrrr. they are at a competition camp with other scouts from our district. They build a Quincy out of snow and put hay down a few tarps and cover it with tarps and boughs from the trees. He has gone on this camp for 3 years now and i sit and worry every year, is he warm enough did i pack enough layers of clothes so on and so on lol. so have any of your children or maybe yourself every done this kind of camp?? I am a leader for the youngest scouts the beavers and our winter camp is indoors and that's enough for me I could not imagine spend the entire weekend outside no thank you. I will be glad when i pick him up tomorrow then maybe i can get some sleep lol. | |
