| HELP!? Does this word play some important role in your religion? | | HEll0 friends. I know that in the Christianity "helping the others" is one of the unwritten laws( as far as I know, hope that I am not mistaken) that religious people must observe, and I guess it is the same with all other religions, but am I really right? | | Role Model | | I think Every one have their Role model. Role model is the one who impressed us a lot by their activities and manners, according to me everyone is affected or liked some one for their activities, characters or some other qualities of them and follow them in their life. For me my role model is our (Indian) Ex. president Abdul Kalaam. He is a great living genius, i am very much affected by him and follows his words and writings, i always likes his speech which is worth for youths. His main target is youth, because of his efforts he made a lot of youths in a nice manner. I always like him. I have no words to describe about him. | your role as a parent | | Hello everyone,
The other day on mylot, someone asked if we as parents will introduce smoking, drinking etc to our children or leave it to their friends. That question got me thinking because I personally feel it would be absurd for a parent to introduce such things to their children whether directly or indirectly (as we know some children learn from what they see their parents doing).
I don't know why the person asked the question and this is not an attempt to judge them but like I said, it got me thinking. I do have a question for parents. What do you see as your ROLE(S) as a parent?
I have a 6 month old daughter so am quite new to the parenting business. I would love to hear from you. Thank you. | |
